It is amazing how pilasters (split turnings) can dress up and add warmth to otherwise plain cabinets. These turnings measure 3 inches wide by 34-1/2 inches tall.and were made out of paint grade Poplar.

This client wanted a nautical theme for his den and designed these rope spiral pilasters to go on the front of his built in bookcases. These turnings measure 4 inches and 3 inches wide at the block ends by 72 inches and 54 inches tall respectively and are made of stain grade Hard Maple.

These turned and beaded pilasters were applied to the front of built in bookcases.  They measure 3-1/2 inches wide at the block ends by 60 inches tall and are made of stain grade Hard Maple.

Some people like very tall bookcases.  These pilasters measure 3 inches wide at the block ends and are 10 feet tall.  They were made of paint grade poplar and are in 3 separate pieces, a fluted shaft and 2 beaded end blocks.

These massive Rope pilasters were custom made for a large fireplace surround.  They are made of soft maple and measure 42" tall and are 7" wide on the block ends.
