This client chose ROPE & COVE style columns that make people say OH, WOW!! when entering her elegant bathroom. I have to admit that they are truely awesome. They measure 8 inches wide by 5 feet tall with square ends and are made of paint grade Poplar.

These red oak columns are tapered from 7 inches in diameter to 5 inches and are 64 inches tall. They were made with a 1 inch bead around the top. 

This column is a traditonal ROPE SPIRAL in a Left Hand version. It measures 6 inches in diameter and is 8 feet tall. The shaft is 7 feet long and the beaded and coved ends are 6 inches long each.

This client wanted the columns in the enterway of his livingroom to be truely unique and this is what he came up with.  They measure 5 inches wide at the block ends and are 80 inches tall.  The style is a left and right hand  BARLEY TWIST  over a DIAMOND pattern separated by a 1 inch bead and are made of paint grade Poplar.

These are "Classically" tapered columns. These columns were made of "wormy maple" and are 48" tall and measure 6" in diameter on the large end for 8" and then gradually taper in a long smooth arc to 5" diameter to the 1/2" bead. Capitals and bases were added later by the customer.
